The initial laboratory involves pre-surgical templating of the cadaveric specimens’ stifle radiographs, conducted on a laptop with instructor assistance and review. Participants are paired into groups of two. Participants perform a modified cranial closing wedge ostectomy (mCCWO), a double cut CORA-Based Leveling Osteotomy (CBLO) and/or a combined TPLO with cranial closing wedge osteotomy in both plastic bone models and in cadaveric specimens. Post-operative radiographs of the cadaveric specimens are acquired, and a radiographic review will round out the laboratory exercises.
