Dr. Innes reviews the outcomes of a randomized study comparing the safety and efficacy of bedinvetmab to meloxicam in controlling canine OA pain. Dogs received either daily oral meloxicam (n=49) for 56 days or bedinvetmab (n=52) administered subcutaneously once every 28 days for two injections. The Canine Orthopedic Index was used to evaluate efficacy, and all adverse events occurring during the study were recorded.
Lunch is provided.
