Equine Surgery Resident

Dr. Mana Okudaira obtained her veterinary degree in 2020 from Cornell University. Following graduation, she ventured off to the west coast and completed a rotating hospital internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, CA. Mana then joined the Equine Field Service at Colorado State University where she enjoyed a year of equine ambulatory work and teaching veterinary students. Following this, Mana returned to the east coast and completed a surgical internship at Cornell Ruffian Equine Specialists and a research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in the Ortved Orthopedic Regenerative Medicine Lab. Mana is currently a resident in equine surgery at Auburn University. Her interests include regenerative medicine, bone biology and fracture repair.
