Dr. Montalbano is a clinical assistant professor of Integrative and Mobility Medicine at the University of Florida. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017 and went on to complete a specialty internship and residency program in canine sports medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Florida. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and is also a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner and veterinary acupuncturist. Dr. Montalbano has particular interest in injury prevention and post-injury recovery of working and sporting dogs. She spends her free time raising future service dogs for Canine Companions and is currently working with her 20th puppy for the organization.
