Teri earned her AAS in Veterinary Technology from Madison Area Technical College in 1981. Professional positions included clinic CVT at Oregon Veterinary Clinic; Surgery Technician at Purdue University Veterinary School; Surgery Lab Tech III at UW Veterinary School; Lead Lab Coordinator at Madison College. After 40 years of full-time employment she retired in Sept. 2021. Currently, she holds several part time positions including: Guest Lecturer for Melbourne Polytechnic’s Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing program; Clinical Instructor for Lincoln Memorial University’s Master’s of Veterinary Clinical Care program; CVT surgical tech at Edinger Surgical Options and Laboratory Technician for ACVS. Teri earned her VTS in Surgery in January 2013 from the Academy of Veterinary Surgical Technicians and is very active in the group with leadership positions on the Executive Board as well as an Exam committee member. She also is the Technician representative on the ACVS CE Committee and is responsible for the planning of the technician program at the annual Surgery Summit.
