Surgeon
Kinetic Veterinary Specialists
Clermont, Florida
Dr. Herman is a board-certified veterinary surgeon. He obtained his DVM through Purdue University. He went on to train at the Animal Medical Center in NYC for internship followed by surgical residency at MedVet in Columbus Ohio. Dr. Herman has been practicing minimally invasive surgery for over 15 years. His driving force for treating patients is to leave the smallest surgical footprint possible to enable patients to return to normal function in the shortest period of time. His specific interests are arthroscopy, stifle disorders, fracture repair, angular limb deformities and rehabilitation modalities. These interests led to the founding of Kinetic Veterinary Specialists in Clermont, Florida that began as a mobile surgery and rehabilitation service and has grown into a hybrid mobile and brick and mortar practice. He didn’t want to forego his core principles of minimally invasive surgery. Therefore, he worked with various vendors for equipment and transport to accomplish these foundational principles.
