I completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2018 at the University of California, Davis. After graduation, I completed an equine surgery internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, followed by a rotating equine internship with surgical focus at Kansas State University. I then started a three year Equine Surgery Residency with a combined Master of Science degree at The Ohio State University in July of 2020. After completion of my residency, I was hired as an Assistant Professor of Equine Surgery at OSU. My research interests include treatment of MFC subchondral bone lucencies in horses, SDFT adaptation in Thoroughbred racehorses, topical treatment of equine melanoma and sarcoid, wounds healing, and inflammatory markers after routine laparascopic surgery in horses.
