Nathan attended Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine to complete a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree after completing his undergraduate studies at the same university (Go Cougs!). He completed both a rotating and surgery internship at Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego - Sorrento Valley in San Diego, California. He is now in his third year at The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in New York City.
