Oral melanoma is invasive and highly metastatic. As surgeons, we may dread these cases, given their often aggressive biology. However, some cases can have prolonged survival with definitive treatment. This lecture discusses how to decipher the individual melanoma tumor biology to personalize treatment recommendations.
