Mast cell tumors are among the most common skin tumors we see, and there is a large spectrum of presentations and variations in their tumor biology. Some cases may be overtreated, while others require all available treatments and still end poorly. This lecture discusses practical methods for understanding the likely biology of individual tumors to guide treatment recommendations for each patient.
