Many large animal surgeons are called upon by their Zoo Med colleagues for their expertise with equine and bovine patients and, with a willingness to learn new anatomy, the boldness to try something new, and a bit of ingenuity, it can lead to a very rewarding collaboration! This lecture takes a case-based approach to extending what we know about procedures commonly completed on domestic large animals and applying those principles to exotic hoofstock.
