The advantages and disadvantages of OLV will be discussed, as well as procedures that require or may benefit from OLV reviewed. Techniques pertaining to placement of OLV devices and potential complications will also be discussed. Relevant literature will be reviewed throughout the discussion pertaining to OLV and thoracoscopic surgery.
