Treating Biceps Disease: Where We Are Now, and What We Still Need to Learn
This lecture reviews what we know about the various manifestations of biceps tendon pathology, with a focus on treatment selection. Based on consensus clinical opinion, we will discuss which cases carry a better prognosis from surgical versus non-surgical intervention, and what a comprehensive non-surgical treatment program entails. The technique for performing an incisionless biceps tenotomy is also reviewed.
