David Orozco Lopez, MVZ, DVM, is currently a first year equine surgery resident at University of California Davis. He earned his veterinary degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2019. Following graduation, he moved to the United States and completed a field service internship at Rio Rico Ranch, Texas. He then ventured to California where he a joined Chino Valley Equine Hospital for 1.5 years, followed by one year equine internships at Mississippi State University and University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center. Dr Orozco's professional interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
